Seeing Clearly

Good Morning! Today I get to share this website with a group of wonderful young men and women who are learning their true value and worth. Oddly enough I woke up feeling defeated. I have made mistakes in my life and others have caused me to experience a lot of hurt, I grabbed my tea and headed for God's word, turning to Proverbs 18:9-10, it reads, "He who is loose and slack in his work is brother to a destroyer and he who does not use His endeavors to heal himself is brother to him who commit suicide.
my brother actually did commit suicide". I can honestly say that was the biggest storm of my life. Divorce, abuse, failures , the list goes on cannot compare to that. Maybe that is partly why I could continue and overcome because I feel if I got through that , "this" is nothing. I desire healing, I cannot say life brings you to a plateau and you slide but you come to realize it is a press, a daily press. Keep pressing forward to overcome! I choose to take the myriad of bad and good things that have come into my life and still in the midst of tears and pain I reach up for my healing and out to others. We cannot always wait until we arrive at a perfect place to begin using what we have experienced to reach out to others. We must let our light shine into the lives of others! My heart is that I hope what I have gone through can bring some insight to encourage another in the midst of their storm. I am a firm believer that we experience healing in our own lives as we help others!
The last part of the verse says, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are safe and strong!"
Be strong today, no matter where you are or what you believe, know you are designed and created with a purpose and without mistake~ and you are loved!
