Jesus in Every Moment

Social media has become such a distraction for me. Especially as a mom home with children I crave that social interaction. These media platforms offer some good resources and can be very advantageous, but it can also pose as a distraction when we need to be focused. Despite distractions, basic life can keep us from spending time with Jesus the way we truly desire. Quiet uninterrupted times are scarce when littles are in the home. Instead of waiting for the time to be alone, embrace Jesus while the children are awake, sing while you wash dishes, dance with your baby as you worship the Lord. Dishes, laundry, creative times, monotony, all of it can be turned into moments of God ordained praise. Jesus wants to be part of your every moment and your everyday. Embrace Him right where you are, read the Bible out loud to your baby, pray out loud and let them see how to live for Jesus practically in the everyday moments. 

The perfect time rarely presents itself, but when you bring Jesus Christ into those moments they become perfect!

Matthew 6:33
"But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Prayer
Lord, may my days be productive and may my heart be right. Help me to remember that when the days are slow or filled with busyness of life with a baby that those moments are productive and needful. Please bless those times and help me to keep the proper perspective of what is of true value!
