ARISE!

"Awake, Awake, put on your strength, O Zion , put on your beautiful garments O Jerusalem, the Holy City; for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and unclean. Shake yourself from the dust, arise , sit erect in a dignified place, O Jerusalem; loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of  Zion." Isaiah 52:1-2.
These powerful words call me to remember where I have been. They are words that call for action. These commands are linked to a promise. the Lord has called us holy, a city on a hill.
the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 5:14
Know who you are in Christ and act like it! know you are beautiful inside and out! When you feel beautiful it shows, we care how we look and carry ourselves. We put on our beautiful garments, not just external things like hair, clothes and nails, but where the true beauty lies and what really shows through. You are putting on as an act of obedience, no because you feel like it! The feelings follow as we put on the garments that Christ has given us, like salvation, joy and peace. We sit erect, not slumped over, like you know you look good! It's an air of confidence and trust. There is no worry in this!
THEN shake off the dust and dirt of life, you may not feel strong enough but when you put on that garment of joy it comes. The joy of the Lord is our strength, it may seem like a sacrifice but act on it and the feelings will follow. We don't go into our closet and expect our clothes to jump on our bodies! Why should we expect the clothing we wear in the spirit would be any different? Its an intentional decision to choose how you will act!
Garments of forgiveness, for when we forgive we are freed. Garments of peace that give of peace that pass our own understanding that mount over our hearts and minds in Jesus Christ. When we are clothed in Christ we have a right standing with God, not relying on own own abilities! And of course we put on the garment of salvation which connects us to all the promises God has given to us. It is our daily choice what we put on! When we are clothed in the beautiful garments of Jesus as joint heirs with Him we can shake the dust off and let things go.
I am writing a message I need desperately. I wake up with a heaviness and cry because there are things that are hard I cannot change. I can change how I look at them. I am even in a wonderful season of my life, yet "LIFE" still throws things at you! So I am doing this right along side ya'll, Let's sit erect in a dignified place as Isaiah says. To sit erect means upright and with confidence! In a dignified place is a place of honor, this is where the Lord has a seat for us! But we have to put on the garment and take our seat! That is on us to do the receiving!
we are told then to loose ourselves from the bondage! This is powerful, because when we feel bound we do not have the strength to free ourselves. The Lord did not go straight to, "FREE YOURSELF!" He told us how! First He says, wake up and be aware of what's going on! Then He gave us a directive that reinforced our identity and sense of worth. Now that you are feeling stronger and better about yourself, lets get rid of the garbage. Now that is done come away from that and come sit here with me, take your place and be who you created to be. He tells us to sit, sitting is a resting state, means it is a place of rest and completion. You sit in a dignified place, with the posture and strength of Heaven to take the bonds off your life for good! This is true freedom!
